Senator Ned Nwoko, representing Delta North on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has firmly refuted recent rumors claiming he has died in Switzerland.
In a statement issued on Friday in Abuja, Nwoko labeled these reports as entirely false and malicious.
The senator expressed outrage over the baseless accusations and insults directed at him, including recent claims about purchasing a vehicle for a young content creator. He denounced these allegations as misleading and harmful.
Nwoko announced that he will be pursuing legal action against those responsible for spreading these falsehoods. “These claims, whether intended as a joke or as a deliberate attack, have gone too far and will not be tolerated,” he asserted. “I am initiating legal proceedings, and those behind these actions should be prepared to face serious consequences.”
He emphasized that this issue extends beyond mere influence, focusing instead on ensuring accountability for those spreading false information. Nwoko warned that anyone involved in disseminating these damaging rumors should expect swift legal action.
