Former Vice President and 2023 presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, made a visit to his hometown of Jada in Adamawa State on Tuesday. During his visit, Atiku engaged in a tree-planting initiative aimed at addressing the issue of rapid deforestation in the community.

Later in the day, Atiku visited Central Primary School in Jada, his alma mater, where he took the opportunity to present scholarships and awards to outstanding students within the Ganye chiefdom of Adamawa State. This gesture aligns with Atiku’s emphasis on education and his commitment to supporting young minds in the region.
