A well-known Nigerian crossdresser, popularly known as ‘Abuja Area Mama,’ was tragically murdered in Abuja.
The lifeless body was discovered along the Katampe Mabuchi expressway in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) on the morning of Thursday, August 8.
The deceased, who was open about his sexuality, had shared a video of himself on Wednesday evening wearing a black dress with white petals. He was later found in the same clothing, lying in a pool of blood.
SP Josephine Adeh, the spokesperson for the FCT command, confirmed the incident to LIB. She stated that the body was taken to the hospital, where the crossdresser was pronounced dead.
“It is true,” said Adeh. “We received a distress call about an unknown lady’s body found at Katampe Mabuchi expressway. When the police arrived at the scene, we discovered it was a man dressed in female attire with blood all over his face.”
