In a tragic turn of events, Deborah Ohamara, a radio presenter at Nigeria Info Abuja, has met an untimely demise in a fatal road accident on Airport Road in Lugbe, Abuja. Reports obtained by Naija News reveal that the incident occurred yesterday when a sand-filled heavy-duty truck collided with Ohamara’s vehicle.

According to eyewitness Nten Ekpang, Ohamara was hit from behind by another car, causing her to collide with the moving trailer. Unfortunately, the talented broadcaster succumbed to the injuries sustained in the crash. Nigeria Info 95.1 FM expressed deep sorrow and announced the passing of Deborah Ohamara, affectionately known as Debbie.

The accident, which occurred around 3 pm on Monday, led to a traffic gridlock on the expressway. Ohamara, hailed as the golden voice of Naija Info, was driving from the airport axis when the tragic incident unfolded.

In a separate incident in Tudun Wada, Kano State, residents were plunged into mourning after a tragic midnight fire outbreak claimed the lives of several family members. The devastating incident was reportedly caused by an electric spark during power restoration.

Malam Idi Maikatako, a resident, disclosed that the incident occurred while the family was asleep, resulting in the tragic deaths of the father, mother, and five children. The sixth child survived but is currently hospitalized.

The spokesperson of the Kano State Fire Service, Saminu Yusif, confirmed the incident, stating that the victims lost their lives due to suffocation from the smoke generated by the fire outbreak. The fire service received a distress call in the early hours of the day and rushed to the scene, where seven lives were tragically lost.
