All three Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Senators representing Osun State have officially endorsed President Bola Tinubu as their candidate for the 2027 general elections.
In a joint statement released Tuesday in Abuja, Senators Kamarudeen Lere Oyewumi (Osun West), Olubiyi Fadeyi Ajagunla (Osun Central), and Francis Adenigba Fadahunsi (Osun East) expressed “unwavering support” for President Tinubu’s leadership and re-election bid.
The unanimous decision followed a strategic meeting of the Osun State Senators’ Caucus of the PDP. Their statement praised Tinubu’s infrastructure projects and economic policies, citing “significant reductions in food prices” and “noticeable improvements in national security.”
“This overwhelming endorsement goes beyond mere symbolism; it is a clear reflection of genuine confidence and satisfaction with President Tinubu’s delivery of democratic dividends,” the Senators declared. They noted their pride in representing constituents who support Tinubu’s leadership and called on the President to continue his “relentless drive toward achieving greater successes for Nigeria’s future.”
The Senators emphasized that “there is no credible opposition within our ranks,” stating that Osun Central stands “resolutely united behind this historic decision.”
