Renowned Nollywood actor Amaechi Muonagor has reached out to the public, appealing for both financial assistance and prayers as he grapples with paralysis and a stroke. In a video shared on social media, the ailing actor shared his vulnerable account of the stroke’s onset, along with the medical journey he has been on since.
Muonagor recounted being swiftly rushed to the hospital following the initial stroke episode, and later transferred to the Nnewi Teaching Hospital in Anambra for ongoing medical treatment. He revealed that this unfortunate incident occurred seven months ago, right after he had finished shooting a movie with fellow actors, including Emeka Ani, Patience Ozokwo, Rita Edochie, and Ebele Okaro.
The actor explained that he was preparing to leave in his car when the sudden stroke struck, resulting in a deterioration of his condition, rendering him immobile and partially paralyzed. Expressing regret for not sharing his ordeal earlier, Muonagor appealed to the public for financial assistance. He emphasized the severe impact of paralysis on his body, which includes significant swelling and the inability to eat.
Additionally, he revealed that he has depleted essential medications during his three-month stay at the current hospital. Given his pressing need for financial support and the power of prayers, Muonagor has reached out to his friends, colleagues, fans, and the general public for help during this challenging period.
