Minister of Interior Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo has lauded President Bola Tinubu’s leadership during Nigeria’s challenging times, calling it a profound blessing for the nation.

In a statement issued on Monday in response to the planned August hunger protest, Tunji-Ojo praised Tinubu’s boldness and tenacity in addressing the country’s issues and urged Nigerians to support the federal government’s policies.

“We are at a crucial point in our history, where acknowledging our achievements and recognizing the challenges ahead is essential. It is in this spirit of reflection and resolve that I find solace – and consider it a profound blessing – that we have a president who is bold, audacious, and tenacious enough to face these difficulties,” Tunji-Ojo said.

The Minister highlighted President Tinubu’s dedication to overcoming Nigeria’s longstanding problems, emphasizing his awareness of the citizens’ hardships and his relentless efforts to address them. “President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has demonstrated unparalleled boldness and tenacity in confronting and addressing the issues plaguing our nation. His unwavering commitment to overcoming these challenges is evident in every action he takes. He is acutely aware of the current plights of Nigerians and is working tirelessly to resolve them.”

Tunji-Ojo called for unity and unwavering support for Tinubu’s administration, urging Nigerians to rally behind the President’s vision for the country. “In these times of both challenges and opportunities, it is imperative that we, the people of Nigeria, come together with renewed vigor and unwavering support for President Tinubu’s administration. Our nation’s journey has never been easy, but through our collective resilience and patriotism, we have made significant strides.”

He continued, “We call upon every Nigerian to stand united, embracing a strong sense of patriotism and national pride. Our support and commitment are crucial as President Tinubu leads us through this transformative period. He is not just a leader; he is a symbol of our collective aspirations for a prosperous and equitable Nigeria.”

The Minister reiterated Tinubu’s commitment to creating lasting solutions that will benefit all Nigerians and called on citizens to renew their pledge of support. “Now, more than ever, we must rally behind President Tinubu’s vision for our country. His administration is dedicated to creating lasting solutions that will uplift every Nigerian, ensuring that our future is one of hope, opportunity, and justice. Let us renew our commitment to this noble cause, knowing that together, we can overcome any obstacle and achieve the Nigeria of our dreams.”

Tunji-Ojo concluded by emphasizing the importance of unity and collective strength in building a better Nigeria. “As we embark on this journey, let us remember that the strength of our nation lies in our unity and our unwavering belief in a brighter future. President Tinubu is leading us with courage and determination, and with our support, there is no challenge we cannot surmount. Let us stand together, Nigeria, and renew our pledge to support President Tinubu as he works diligently to build a better, stronger, and more prosperous Nigeria for all.”
