First Lady Assures Nigerians of Better Future Under President Tinubu’s Leadership

In a gathering of former first ladies, governors’ wives, and other distinguished women, the First Lady, Senator Remi Tinubu, offered reassurance to Nigerians regarding the future of the nation under her husband’s presidency.

During an Iftar event hosted on Sunday, Senator Tinubu expressed confidence that Nigeria would experience positive transformation during her husband, President Bola Tinubu’s tenure. She emphasized his commitment to improving the nation and assured attendees that Nigeria would emerge as a better place even after they had departed.

A statement from her Special Adviser on Media, Busola Kukoyi, quoted Mrs. Tinubu as saying, “Mr. President will do all it takes to make the nation better, that even when we live here, we will go back to a better Nigeria.”

She urged unity and collaboration from all stakeholders to steer the nation back on the path to progress. Mrs. Tinubu highlighted the importance of collective efforts in achieving national development.

Acknowledging the ongoing social investment programs initiated by the administration, Mrs. Tinubu noted their positive impact and assured attendees that the results were becoming evident.

Among those present at the gathering were former First Ladies of Nigeria, female justices, wives of governors, female ministers, wives of ministers, and wives of service chiefs. Together, they offered prayers for the nation, the President, and global peace.

Senator Tinubu’s remarks reflect optimism and determination for a brighter future under President Tinubu’s leadership, emphasizing the need for concerted efforts to realize national growth and prosperity.
