The funeral ceremony for the late former Governor of Ondo State, Rotimi Akeredolu, is currently underway at St. Andrews Church on Imola Street in Owo, Ondo State.
Akeredolu passed away on December 27, 2023, at the age of 67 after a prolonged illness.
Prior to the funeral, a service of songs and tribute night was held in honor of the former governor on Monday, February 19, at the Jogor Centre in Ibadan, Oyo State.
The ceremony serves as a final farewell to Akeredolu, who served the people of Ondo State diligently during his time in office. Family, friends, colleagues, and well-wishers have gathered to pay their respects and celebrate the life and legacy of the late governor.
