The Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) has officially lifted the suspension on all wet lease aircraft in the fleet of United Nigeria Airlines. This move follows the recent suspension, which was imposed after an incident where one of the aircraft mistakenly landed passengers at the Asaba International Airport instead of the intended destination, Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport (NAIA) in Abuja.
In response to the lifting of the suspension, the airline’s management issued a press statement expressing apologies to passengers for any inconvenience caused during the period of the suspension.
