Nigerian Breweries PLC has issued a “Price Review Notification” to its direct customers in the West Zone, according to a letter seen by Nairametrics and dated Monday, February 12, 2024.

Effective from Monday, February 19, 2024, the company will implement price adjustments to offset the impact of increased production expenses. However, orders placed before the specified date and fully funded will be honored at existing prices.

The letter, signed on behalf of Nigerian Breweries PLC, states, “This review has become necessary because of continued rising input cost and the need to mitigate the impact.”

While expressing appreciation for the partnership with customers, the letter assures them of continued support in sales and distribution efforts.

Insider sources reveal that this marks the third price adjustment by the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) company this year.

The letter further outlines specific instructions for customers, including communication of the exact quantity of orders allowed, which will be conveyed by Regional Business Managers (RBMs). Orders exceeding this quantity will be subject to the revised pricing on February 19, 2024.

The new price list includes:

  1. GULDER – N950
  2. STAR – N850
  3. 33 EXTRA – N850
  4. HEINEKEN – N1300
  5. LIFE – N850
  6. LEGEND – N1250
  7. TIGER – N750

For further inquiries, customers are advised to contact their Regional Business Manager.
