The Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, and his fourth wife, Olori Folashade, have joyfully welcomed their first child together. The monarch shared the heartwarming news on his social media account today.
He expressed his gratitude, writing, “To God be the glory, great things He has done. Hearty congratulations to the entire House of Oduduwa and Olori Folashade, who today gave birth to a Prince. The child hails from the mother’s side of the Ooni Adagba Royal Compound of the Lafogido Ruling House and the father’s side of the Ooni Agbedegbede Royal Compound of the Giesi Ruling House, both connected to the Royal throne of Oduduwa.”
The Ooni added that both mother and child are in good health, giving glory to God Almighty and acknowledging the spirits of their ancestors. The royal couple tied the knot in October 2022.
