The All Progressives Congress (APC) has announced dates for its National Caucus and National Executive Committee (NEC) meetings, scheduled to hold at the Presidential Villa in Abuja later this month.

The party’s National Secretary, Senator Ajibola Bashiru, disclosed this in a statement issued on Wednesday, indicating that both strategic sessions will take place in the Banquet Hall of the Presidential Villa.

According to the notice, the National Caucus meeting has been slated for Monday, December 15, 2025, at 6:00 pm, while the NEC meeting will follow the next day, Tuesday, December 16, 2025, at 12:00 noon.

“NOTICE OF APC NATIONAL CAUCUS & NATIONAL EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE (NEC) MEETINGS. National Caucus Meeting Date: Monday, 15th December 2025 Time: 6pm. NEC Meeting Date: Tuesday, 16th December 2025 Time: 12noon. Both meetings will take place at the Banquet Hall, Presidential Villa, Abuja,” Bashiru stated.

The gatherings are expected to draw the party’s top political leadership, including President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Vice President Kashim Shettima, Senate President Godswill Akpabio, and House of Representatives Speaker Tajudeen Abbas.

State governors elected on the APC platform and select federal lawmakers are also expected to attend the high-level meetings, which typically serve as forums for discussing party strategy, policy direction, and organizational matters.

In his statement, Bashiru emphasized that the invitation is issued in accordance with the party’s constitution.

“All members of the National Caucus are by this invitation to take notice of the meeting in accordance with Article 12.5 of the APC constitution,” he said.

The meetings come at a crucial time for the ruling party as it navigates various political challenges, including internal party dynamics, preparations for future elections, and the implementation of President Tinubu’s policy agenda.

While the specific agenda for both meetings has not been publicly disclosed, observers expect discussions to cover issues such as party unity, electoral strategies, governance performance, and possibly the resolution of internal disputes in some state chapters.

The NEC meeting, being the party’s highest decision-making body outside of the National Convention, will provide an opportunity for comprehensive deliberations on the APC’s direction and priorities in the coming months.
