President Bola Ahmed Tinubu departed Abuja on Thursday, September 4, to begin his 2025 annual leave, which will take the form of a working vacation in Europe.

According to a statement issued by presidential media aide Bayo Onanuga, the President’s leave will span 10 working days across two European countries.

The statement revealed that President Tinubu will divide his time between France and the United Kingdom during the vacation period before returning to Nigeria.

The working vacation is described as part of the President’s official annual leave entitlement for 2025, combining rest with continued official duties while abroad.

Further details about specific engagements or meetings during the European trip were not provided in the initial announcement from the presidency.

President Tinubu is expected to return to Nigeria following the completion of his 10-day working vacation in France and the UK.
