The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC Ltd.) has announced a record profit of ₦3.3 trillion for the 2023 financial year, marking the highest earnings in the company’s history.
This substantial profit represents an increase of over ₦1 trillion from the ₦2.548 trillion reported for the 2022 fiscal year.
In addition to the impressive profit, NNPC Ltd. has declared a dividend of ₦2.101 trillion for the same period. Umar Ajiya, Chief Financial Officer of NNPC Ltd., highlighted the significance of these figures in a statement to reporters on Monday, emphasizing the company’s strong financial performance.
