Senator Ifeanyi Ubah of Anambra South has reportedly passed away in London, United Kingdom. The news of his death was shared in a WhatsApp group for senators, with SaharaReporters stating that Ubah died in a London hotel.
Ubah traveled to London two days prior after his campaign council contributed ₦71 million to the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Anambra State, with Ubah personally donating ₦50 million.
He had been strengthening his position for the upcoming Anambra governorship election in 2025, having recently switched from the Young Progressives Party (YPP) to the ruling APC.
As of now, there has been no official statement from the Senate leadership or from Senator Ubah’s aides regarding his passing.
