Dignitaries Convene for Grand Book Launch Honoring Former President Buhari in Abuja

In a prestigious assembly, prominent dignitaries gathered in Abuja on Tuesday for the ceremonial launch of a book dedicated to paying tribute to former President Muhammadu Buhari. Notably, this event signified Buhari’s inaugural return to Abuja since relinquishing power to President Bola Tinubu on May 29, 2023.

The book launch event, held at the Transcorp Hilton hotel’s conference hall in Abuja, drew notable figures, including President Tinubu, former Head of State Yakubu Gowon, former Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, former First Lady Aisha Buhari, Senate President Senator Godswill Akpabio, and Speaker of the House of Representatives Tajudeen Abbas, among several others.

Authored by Femi Adesina, the book titled ‘Working With Buhari’ was unveiled alongside five volumes of another book titled ‘Muhammadu Buhari, The Nigerian Legacy, 2015 to 2023.’

The extensive list of dignitaries in attendance featured the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Abdullahi Ganduje and the Chief of Staff to the President, Femi Gbajabiamila. The Inspector of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, former Minister of Labour, Employment and Productivity Dr. Chris Ngige, former Governor of Kaduna State Mallam Nasir El-rufai, and Alhaji Mohammed Indimi were also present.

Further luminaries included former Minister of the FCT Mallam Mohammad Sani Bello, former Minister of Aviation Hadi Sirika, former Minister of Information, Culture, and National Orientation Lai Mohammed, Minister of Solid Minerals Development Dele Alake, Minister of Steel Development Prince Sanusi Audu, and former Minister of Works and Housing Raji Fashola SAN.

Noteworthy attendees from the gubernatorial realm included Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun State and Governor Dikko Radda of Katsina State.

As the event unfolded, details surrounding the book launch are expected to be disclosed later.
