In a somber announcement, the family of Aisha Bello Mustapha, the esteemed broadcaster and former General Manager of NTA Parliament, has shared the news of her demise. A stalwart in the field of journalism, Aisha Bello Mustapha left an indelible mark during her tenure, notably as a leading newscaster on NTA Network News at 9 PM throughout the ’90s and early 20s.
After an illustrious career spanning an impressive thirty-five years, Aisha Bello Mustapha bid farewell to active service, retiring in May 2022. The media icon’s family, in a poignant statement, conveyed the heartbreaking news of her passing, saying, “Innalilahi wa inna Alaihin Rajiun. May Allah forgive our Mother Hajia Aishat Bello Mustapha. Mama, indeed, you are a very kind-hearted person. We will miss you and hope you are enjoying Rahma.”
The Funeral Prayer to pay respects and bid farewell to Aisha Bello Mustapha is scheduled to take place at the central mosque in Abuja at 1 pm on Monday, 11th December 2023. As the community gathers to honor her memory, may her soul rest in peace.
