Former Governor of Anambra State, Peter Obi, has congratulated former Vice President Atiku Abubakar for emerging victorious at the presidential primary election of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Atiku defeated all other aspirants with a wide margin to emerge the winner of Saturday’s primary election held at the Moshood Abiola Stadium in Abuja.
Atiku will now be the official candidate of the PDP for the 2023 presidential election in Nigeria.
The Chairman of the PDP electoral committee for the primaries, David Mark, announced Atiku as the winner of the primary election.
Reacting to the development, Peter Obi via his verified Twitter page on Sunday congratulated the former Vice President on his emergence as the PDP presidential flagbearer in 2023.
He wrote; “On behalf of my family, I sincerely congratulate my leader and dear elder brother, H.E
